when i did the same changes to spell_dbc.sql and npc_text.sql like in the git commit above it worked for me

I'm having the same problem, a few days ago I got stuck on item_template, setting max packets to 2G fixed that but now it's doing the same thing with npc_text even with packet size set to 16G
