Manually deleting files in MySQL is somewhere between very bad practice and just wrong. Always use a MySQL client.

Update: guess this hot stove burned more than I thought. MYSQL80 won't start so uninstalling all then installing fresh.

Update:2. Thanks to SSDs things are working again, and I know how to use 'drop' instead of other very bad practices >.>

Yes but you don't delete system files in Windows because you're not sure if they are required so you break the OS.
