The script does input file hashes into the database, just like the auto updater does, but I prefer to handle it myself rather than the auto updater.

It'll install packages, download source code, compile it, download client data files, update config files, import database files and start the server.

`$(git ls-remote --tags --sort="v:refname" https://github.com/wowgaming/client-data.git | tail -n1 | cut --delimiter='/' --fields=3 | sed 's/v//')` is a godsend too because there's never any need to update the script if new client data files are released because it'll find out on its own.

i also dont like the basic install scripts that the acore.sh does, there is some sudo stuff that i've never needed and they just annoy me there so so much

Oh yeah, you would have to seriously review my script. I only ever use root because it doesn't make sense to me to have another user so the script assumes it's always run as root.
