nightly updates are usually not a good idea though because if something goes wrong with the importing, your server won't start up and keep crashing

yeah it must also always be in synch with the core updates as otherwise you might find issues if structure changes

also possibly something i could turn into a github action hook so maybe like, on PRs with changes a runner could build up a temporary environment to test the changes in

i could use the hosted runner image and have it deploy to my local cluster, that's my vague idea anyway
