like, if you had a maintenance job that ran a task nightly/weekly/whatever, it would basically just do that because all the files in there can safely be replayed?

you can't do that with the server running, so, eventually, you'll need a restart, and once it restarts, every file is applied

so on the worldserver box, do a git pull and restart the process and it'll handle it?
