is auth/world still able to connect to the db but just your workbench can't or both scenarios can't?

if neither, check your server is still running (`docker ps` for docker, `ps ax | grep mysql` if on linux and system service), if just your workbench can't connect i'd bet ya money your workbench is defaulting to `root`/no password but iirc from the docker setup the password is `password` and not empty password
