is it possible to have an sql script require another file? I have a bunch of definitions in file 1 (using set = ; ) and I want to call them in file 2 without having 1 big file.

i think its best to combine it, so that anyone who finds the file has the definitions too. if you split the files it might cause problems for someone 10 years down the line

SQL being text a few kb larger wont matter as much as the eternal legacy of healthy coding practices
