Haven't looked into this, but do we handle rollbacks in anyway? For instance say there's a problem in the current core build and we want to revert back to the previous build. That's easy enough for the core files, but is there any easy for the DB?

In other words, is the easiest way to simply make a backup of the DB before updates are imported to make it easy to rollback the DB?

Sadly there is no inbuilt way, so yeah making backups is the best way
