the only thing I have on in the screen are the loading screen tips. Every new account/player gets the control tips... gets annoying. I really thought it was a setting on a text file somewhere.

Nevermind. I fixed this issue by switching to boost 1_81 instead of using 1_85. (for the people skimming through chat history)
