He just said that its back to the local address, meaning it is changing back. If that is the case, once corrected to the desired IP, he needs to rightclick the realmlist file, properties, secuity and change permissions, assuming its a windows machine.

i've played wow for years and the fact that the ip address goes back to the local ip address makes no sense to me either .
