Delete the build folder and restart to see if that fixes it. The old paths are probably still active.

It's looking in /azeroth-server and not ~/azeroth-server or /home/<user>/azeroth-server

To add the ah-bot mod it says that You have to use at least AzerothCore commit 9adba48, but I don't know how to make a commit or if it would affect having the playerbots source

maybe, but this is under a linux debg mode so youd think it would know that? it was also original pointing into "/azerothcore/env/bin/worldserver" (which doesnt exist)
tested your suggestion anyway, doesnt like either

Yes and no. I don't even read descriptions and not only because I already know how to deal with modules but also because I don't see the point in researching potential issues unless they actually appear.

If you're not having issues using it, there's no need to do more work than you have to. With that said, ignore that for modules and if it isn't working then it's time to look into it.
