I have tried updating my mariadb to 10.6 and rebuilt the project. No luck.

Make sure the libraries (dll files) you have placed next to the worldserver match the version you have compiled with.
While it is officially supported, MariaDB tends to be tricky sometimes. We recommend MySql.

That might be it actually, didn't copy a new .dll file after the upgrade. I'll try that. If it doesn't work I might change to MySQL.
