The hostname isn't the issue, it's more a question of what kind of setup you have. localAddress, is that the actual LAN IP of the server and what if you set address to that LAN IP and try to connect - does it do anything differently?

If you're not in the same VLAN, it'll try to use WAN and if you're technically all connecting through the same router (or similar device) and it doesn't support loopback then yeah issue

wotlk.xxx resolves to the same if you're behind local DNS otherwise the WAN IP if you're not

Hairpinning / NAT Loopback missing could be causing issues, yeah.

It's tough for me to judge too, especially with different VLANs and devices etc etc.

I mean, yeah I have multiple networks at home but they're actually separate networks behind their own router or linux-based dhcp-server so they don't technically interact with each other except via WAN

I have the TZ270; X0 = LAN, X3 = VLAN10 private wifi (dif subnet), X5 = VLAN20 iot wifi (dif subnet) and X7 = VLAN30 guest wifi (diff subnet); router says VLAN10 <-> LAN = ok, VLAN20 <-> = no, VLAN30 <-> LAN = no
