This is how totaltime is handled. What does it all mean? I don't know.

time_t now = GameTime::GetGameTime().count();
uint32 elapsed = uint32(now - m_Last_tick);
GetSession()->SetTotalTime(GetSession()->GetTotalTime() + elapsed);
m_Last_tick = now;

k so remembered gm commands exist for debugging, if i try to give myself the aura it doesnt work

I've seen issues where it will disconnect after trying to connect because the data in the acore_auth under realmlist isn't configured, as a general rule the address should be your WAN IP and the local address should be your LOCAL IP (physical computer), that will enable you to connect remotely once you have opened up the ports and created the forwarders and it will also allow local connection on the LAN etc
