Does that explain anything about the differences? Frankly I don't get it, spell_proc_event seem to have most if not all the columns spell_proc does but spell_procs has more on top of that.

Some, I suppose. I just searched the source code for Lightning Overload and managed to find that.

k but if im trying to add a new proc effect should i put them into 1 or both of them. they look pretty simliar to me but again, 1 is empty and 1 isnt

It's like someone wanted to update the system for spell procs and never really got it off the ground so it's unsure of what it is

If I had to guess, spell_proc_event is either the old system that never fully transitioned to the new one (spell_proc) because again they seem to share multiple columns or there is some weird system that uses both of them somehow. With my limited knowledge of the spell proc system I'd rather trust what already has data in it.
