As I said, i386/x64 and ARM have identical instructions and **nothing** differ. Absolutely nothing. Mac I have no idea, I'd never touch one, but Linux is absolutely identical.

I have a windows machine but I want to play portable. Can't beat the battery life of the M series. Anyway, if anyone else has experience with client running on an M3, I'd love to get some help.

Mac support is unfortunately limited here but there are people who run it on some version of MacOS and there would be some information online somewhere. I would say plenty or even give you a hint but I sadly don't know of one.
