I have just recently been looking at starting a private server for myself and a few others. Is my understanding of Azerothcore correct, in that there is no plans to have Cataclysm support? Are there modules out there that allow races to use classes they would not normally have in WotLK?

Yes there will be no cataclysm support. Also New races or classes would require client patch / modifications, if I’m not mistaken

So, I have setup a private server for Final Fantasy XI in the past so I am a little familiar with some of the processes that might overlap into WoW servers. Would that be something as simple as changing values in the SQL database, or more involved such as editing or creating custom code to accomplish?

Ah! That is very helpful! There is even another module mentioned from one of the open tickets about the Worgoblin module which looks like it adds the 2 Cataclysm races. Thank you!

When a module's **"core-build"** is listed as **"failing"** what does that mean exactly? That it is not compatible with the most recent version of Azerothcore, or something else?
