there is also setting to add wandering bots and they just roam map around, stealing your kills for missions

There is, just like almost anything. You can change the script not to check for players outside.

The wandering bots are kind of pointless. Playerbots random bots are fine. Both of these bot setups works with battlegrounds, dungeons, raids etc

NPCBots isn't a bad choice, it's just the wandering bots.

With playerbots if bots are around you killing stuff, you can invite them and do the quest with them. It's more interactive. They can also be set to not randomly teleport around or randomly change their level. They progress. That's why I say playerbots random bots are **miles** ahead of wandering bots.
