If you're running a firewall, it would block all connections. However, seeing as you can connect to 3724 I find it strange that you can't connect to 8085.

And my Linux firewall is completely disabled. I actually turned it on a bit ago to add those exceptions to it.

Are you sure you're connecting to the correct IP? It would be strange that the realm that you're connecting to would be down if it's not your own but still need to rule it out.
