2. What is set in your realmlist.wtf file for the client that's attempting to access from outside of the network?

4. How are you testing whether a port forward is successful?

also note that i've sometimes had issues accessing a server after major changes, which were only resolved once i deleted all the cache files associated with that server/account in my client folder

Let me change my local address entry to that computer's IP. The wiki only says "address" field

just FYI it should work with localAddress='127.0.0.1'. I'm accessing mine from outside of the network without issues

So, then, I've changed "address" to the host server's local IP. It's kinda like it just isn't seeing the world server. Maybe I'll delete that client folder and start from scratch for funsies. Thank you.
