Well the only big open source core that I can think of that targets anything past Cata these days is Trinity, so if you'd like to throw your hat in the ring, I'd recommend throwing your fixes at them. AC only targets Wrath, and like sudlud said, the time for sniffing for that is running dry

I don't doubt myself I just need to know the process so I can get started. The sniffing and Parser thing just seemed like it's too easy lol had to double check that. So Trinity focuses on cataclysm and back this one focuses on cataclysm to wrath of lich King? When you say that you mean that most of the bliss-like quest lines are restored for their respective zones?

So as new expansions come out do they pretty much abandon the older ones and leave whatever was fixed fixed and not bother with it anymore?

When I say targets, I mean whatever core/branch is focused on emulating that particular game build. So AC focuses on emulating 3.3.5a, so 2010 Wow and all the content that's included in it. CMaNGOS has branches for the latest versions of vanilla through Cata, VMaNGOS just vanilla, Trinity has branches for 3.3.5a, latest retail, and pretty soon a Cata Classic branch

u could checkout to latest update of trinity for expansion u want before they moved to next one but it will be so much not finished that im not even sure if its worth it at all

Because my other idea is that I could easily write a program that could compare the databases and pull out quest lines that were already fixed between 2 dbs
