Howdy, got the core installed and things are running but the client isn't able to connect. I know ports are open and the client log is showing LOGIN_UNKNOWN_ACCOUNT. I know this is a known good account, but am coming up with nothing.

ugh, make sure when troubleshooting this you double check the auth table that the account is there. In my case it wasn't and as I said ealier ... I'm an idiot.

idk about gm command, but theres a module that adds chromie who can unlock your lockouts for you
