Hm, I thought it was obvious.
This data is based on the last 500 diffs, but I will provide examples based on 20 diffs (for simplicity).
Let's imagine that the last 20 diffs looked like this:
```4, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 120, 1, 4, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 5, 34, 1, 1, 1, 1```
Now let's make calculations for these values.
`Mean` - it's the arithmetic mean or arithmetic average - the sum of diffs divided by the count of numbers in the collection (20).
For the rest of the calculations, we need to sort the diff values:
```1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 4, 4, 5, 34, 120```
Now we are ready to calculate the rest.
`Median` (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Median) - you need to take the value that is located in the middle of the sorted list. The middle position for 20 values is 10 and 11 (if we had 21 values, the middle would be 11). In our case, the values for the 10th and 11th elements are 1, so the median would be 1.
`Percentiles 95, 99, max` (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percentile) - you need to use the same idea as for the median, since the median is the 50th percentile.
So, the `95th percentile` is the value that is located at the 95% position. In our case, the position would be 19 (20/100 * 95=19), so the 95th percentile would be 34.
For the `99th percentile `in our case, it's hard to calculate since we only have 20 items (20/100 * 99=19.8), so the 99th percentile would be somewhere between 34 and 120. But AC uses 500 values, so we would use the value at position 495 (500/100 * 99).
`Max` - it's the 100th percentile, or it's simply the maximum value from the list.
Previously, we only showed the mean value based on the same 500 values data set, but the mean hides a lot of details. This change improves it and provides a clearer picture of how your server performs.
