I'd also probably do something like this

player = player ? player : PlayerIdentifier::FromTargetOrSelf(handler);
if (!player)
return false;

Player* playerTarget = player->GetConnectedPlayer();
if (!playerTarget)
return false;

int32 count = _count ? _count : 1;```
