if I delete them from the db will it send it back or are they just gone?

If you delete them from the database (auctionhouse and item_instance tables, mind you) they will obviously be deleted hence why we both used the world *delete*

the issue is players cant see their auctions posted but they are stuck on the AH

You can try to set the "Time" field of `characters.auctionhouse` to 1. All items must return to owners if time in past

don't forget to restart your server.
If server is working - all auction's data is stored in RAM.
