Hello all, loving the project, been learning a lot and has been a lot of fun getting things set up and playing on my server.
Currently looking into getting DNS set up, but I'm having no joy finding out what the service names for the auth and world servers I should be using on the SRV records are.
Can anyone confirm what they are or, even better, tell me what I can do to find out for myself?

Running on Windows 10 with a traditional installation.

Hi Ergomate, I'm glad you're enjoying this.
I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve.

Hi there. I'm trying to set up SRV records on Cloudflare so I can connect to the server using a domain name instead of my public IP.
I've been able to do this with, for example, Minecraft with "_minecraft._tcp" as the name, but I can't find anything on the equivalent service name for the WoW Auth and World servers.

You need to add the IP or domain into the realmlist table of the auth database. Make sure the IP points the client to your server. E.g. 127.0.0.1 can't work for that.

There's no external service required to use a domain instead of an IP.

I have done this for the "address" column, but not for the "localAddress" column. Would I have to do this for both, or should the first column be enough?

Adress points the client to the worldserver.
Local address points the auth server to the worldserver.

So you just change address.

So I shouldn't have to worry about creating SRV records in Cloudflare for remote PCs to access, if I have an A record pointing to my server?
