I'll try to update MySQL, although I really wouldn't like to waste time on this now, but maybe it will help.

If you're on windows and use RelWithDebInfo, check the crash logs.
If you're on Linux, make sure you use e.g. GDB to generate crash logs in the first place.

I do not have enough information to know what configuration you have, or the modules you use, and many other things that I should perhaps know to be able to really help you as this situation requires. But maybe updating MySQL isn't a bad idea after all. I am using version 8, and so far, I compile on Windows 10 and Debian 12. I have not had problems, but it generates a warning, due to the version of OpenSSL that is outdated. However, the worldserver doesn't close, but I don't have any modules either. You add or replace modules, if I need to test something, or update, but then I usually remove them. I try to work the emulator as cleanly as I can, to avoid that it is not a module that is affecting, and then, I enable them little by little, to confirm in any case, that it is not the emulator, which is the module what is affecting it and try to go in and correct the problem.

What's more, you can try a clean build of the emulator without modules, in another folder, start it and see if it stops.
If it doesn't, then it may be some module, if it does, then it is the emulator.

There is nothing in the logs. Crash logs don't appear either. It just turns off without errors... This is the first time I've encountered something like this.
