No. I have compiled on Windows, Ubuntu and Debian. I had the problems in Windows, because it is the local environment that I use to work, because of the communities that Visual Studio offers. So I couldn't say anything about whether or not this error occurs in other operating systems. On Windows, sure. As for the others, I don't know.

Luckily, we have the tests, which help us know if it works on other operating systems, without the need to run them on all of them.

Currently, tests are failing on Mac. But I don't have a MacOS to test.

Sometimes it's just luck.
Usually, though, it was having hit your head with a similar failure before.

We had a guy at work write a script years ago for migrating user data from their old PC to new one. He didn't realize he had a broken loop until it filled every last bit of disk space and crashed the directors new laptop that he used as his test.

Interesting. Once, I had to manage a `Debian server`, where people logged in via `SSH`, to run some small `bash scripts`. One of them left a process running that consumed 99% of the PC, but the strangest thing was that the process was related to the `nano text editor`, so well, with a kill, it was solved, but it was impossible to access the server . It was a beautiful experience.

Many people start using Debian or Ubuntu when they see the license prices. In my case, it was the other way around, I learned about Debian first, before the emulator. It was good to know that it could be compiled later in it, and that the community always cares about updating it at the library level.
