When I'm adding new modules or pulling updates in from Github and it says to run the Cmake again and rebuild the project using Visual Studio. That's no problem.

My question is what are the next steps after that? Do I need to re-do all of my config files again? For example if i've previously edited the worldserver.conf file, do I need to go back and make those same config changes after rebuilding?

Also do I need to extract the maps again after each rebuild?

Only the .conf.dist gets changed (when you run the CMake step), so your .conf should be fine. You also do not need to re-extract maps unless there's a post in <#316952484566532107> saying you do

Also, rebuild is a poor choice of word. I hope you realize that just means build, not clean and build or rebuild. Running just build compiles changes while rebuild does the entire core.

So step 2 on this is just regular build and not rebuild?

Yeah, it should just say build. You could be forced to rebuild if you run into issues that can only be fixed by doing a full rebuild, I think if PCH changed that might be required. It's just a waste of time to go through the entire build when you're just updating it.
