The only reason it should crash, which doesn't make sense anyway, is if it fails to insert into the database since it expects an integer

I have ddns setup, yes. What is strange to me is I can see my realm from the client

Seeing the realm only proves that you've connected to the authserver, which you know already

authserver reads realmlist, sends it to you to select the one you want and when you've chosen one it sends you to it
