There is no reason to not leave the heroic level set to 55 as it is by default if you're not even going to use it anyway

Depending on what you're doing, you might have to change the expansion to 0.
I lowered my minimum level below 55 and it gave me a bunch of errors as well. Same launch/crash pattern.
Even if you have in the config dks disabled and draenai/blood elves disabled it will still run through those tables and error out.

Objects like shattrath portals and stuff won't work unless you change the expansion flag in the spell DBC. You can still use the NPCs from the other expansions though. Like arena masters and such.

There's a difference between start level (no such thing as min level) and heroic start level. A large one. If you don't want to use DKs there's no reason **at all** to touch heroic start level. None. Just leave it.
