Make sure you check the advanced box in cmake and it will be there

Why is xampp using an old version of mysql though, that's what I'd like to know. Even 5.7 is deprecated.

I don't know, I'd leave it as it is and change the paths only. I've never tried to run multiple instances of mysql (or mariadb) so I've never played around with these settings.

I see, it's using MariaDB 10.4. That explains it. That was an update from Nov 19 2023 so it is the latest version of XAMPP.
