That depends on what that means. If on Linux it's not as simple as just copy-paste and run. Windows is different, you can move it anywhere and run it and it accepts it.

External drives, specifically thumbdrives, I would strongly advice against but other than that you should be fine if you're on Windows.

okay sweet, i noticed the repacks i downloaded had a different format. i haven't touched anything in my build folder since i did it

Oh yeah, you might need to install redists on another PC if it wasn't compiled there because it might need extra dependencies but that's easy.

I wouldn't bother with the core but database sure. That's why I take full backups of all my databases (all world databases excluded, obviously) every hour and store it in the cloud.

i dont think release version give detailed information. gonna switch it to debug, but yeaah just wondering if anyone ever encounter with it
