Thats a good point too. I actually set my realmlist to the public IP aswell as config.wtf etc. but it seems to only show up on the loopback interface in wireshark and not do the full route outside

By the way, after getting "Unable to connect" it'll say in WTF/Config.wtf what the realmlist is. The client updates it automatically.

That's how loopback/hairpinning works. The router knows not to route you all the way but instead send you to the local IP straight away.

It should showup on the normal interface too then if it does go by any other device than localhost no? I feel like the clinet is somehow hardcoded to 127.0.0.1 right now

Have your friend check Config.wtf to see what `SET realmList` says
