hello again....I mistyped above (and corrected it so there is not further confusion)..... .96 is the Host running VMWare and a wow client....it successfully connects (and plays etc) to .85 which is a VM Guest that houses authserver and world server. I can obviously successfully launch a client from within .85 as well obviously. Since I posted last, I attributed this to some network setting on my router that I need to fix and added the playerbots module/followed directions/added bots to follow me and they work etc without issue. I'll continue to work on the other LAN issues...going to try hard wiring connection from laptop and see if it connects...perhaps it's my mesh wifi
