You can use the AH like normal but if no one is posting items, you have nothing to buy. If no one is buying items, you have nothing to sell

I use it myself, although I had to edit it a bit since it doesn't post every item I would want (like glyphs and gems) but it helps to be able to sell stuff and buy some gear etc.

as for the account player the AHbot needs, I just create an account in the worldserver cmd and give the AHBot config the info of that acc right

You create an account and a character on that account and you add the account id and character guid to the ah bot config (account id from acore_auth.account and character guid from acore_characters.characters)
