I'm afraid there's only google if you're looking for a specific version. For 3.3.5a there is ChromieCraft as a trusted source.

I havent decided yet if I want to play solo or not, honestly it works better for me time wise but other people are nice

Well the answer is "yes" to both - just make sure the client addons are for 3.3.5
