I did a GDB run instead... Boost looks like it may be internally failing to make a connection and not actually returning the exception (rethrow_pending_exception?) Not going to pretend to know the network stack yet or be a GDB expert but maybe relevant.

It is not making it to the CheckIpCallback function either from what I see.
