You should just set address (and localAddress if you feel like it) to your LAN IP (i.e 192.168.0.10, 10.0.0.10, 77.0.0.10 or whatever you may have at home)

Just don't set it to anything other than the IP the machine running the server has or you'll have the same issue

Also, I never got an answer to if you can see the realm selection screen or not. If you can't, you need to set realmlist in the client to that LOCAL IP too
