Yup, deleted cache, fully closed the program out and did it again, still always the same result.

I don't know too much about this because I've never had any issues like this one myself. I just run the boost installer, set BOOST_ROOT and it proceeds with succeed from there.

That's literally all I do aside from running the installer

I guess I'll see if restarting my computer helps or something. I don't reckon it will, but I'm kind of running out of ideas.

Important is to use '/', not '\' when pointing to the directory. (Make sure that it does not have a trailing slash (end of the path).
