Hi All. One of my friends that plays on my server is saying the mining resources in TBC expansion is much more slower to spawn and sporadic than the classic areas. Is this by design (as game was made) or modified at the core level?

the classic spawns are the wrong ones

That's a conf setting. You can always change it as you please.

Not from my head, but ctrl+f for things like "corpse" or "spawn" will yield a result for sure.

Corpse Decay is the setting, default to 60 seconds if not looted
