AC works in production environments out of the box. ChromieCraft is running it for example among others.

I haven't really used TC and it's not fair of me to have much of an opinion on it. When I did compare them in a few WotLK dungeons I ran into things that worked better than AC and a few that wasn't working at all while they did on AC.

I know tc has a tendency to release updates that breaks quests and scripts that worked for years just to fix some random obscure engine bug

i heard TC has more quality of life features for modding but i dont have experience with that its just that i heard it from modders
