Remove all the code after vanilla would make the code base much smaller and easier to work on, I suppose.

I don't quite understand what you're saying. It's not as simple as remove stuff and done. You could revamp the AC DB and make it look and behave a lot like vanilla but speaking from experience, that's a **huge** task.

It`s a different client, so entirely different network protocols, therefore needs an entirely different emulator
