Does anyone know how the authentication server connects to the world server after the user has been authenticated? Should the IP be sent to the user to connect themselves, or should the verification server help connect directly to the world server?

I am currently accessing the server through an external network connection. After passing the verification, I am stuck on the game server and cannot enter the game.
The firewall has been configured to allow connections to the TCP ports of the two servers.

Sounds like an issue with your `realmlist` table in the db. `address` needs a value the client can use to find the worldserver.

If it's set, your networking is off. Firewall/ports/something.

I have changed the address field of the realmlist table to FQDN. Is this correct?

It's only stupid if that's not a daily mistake. Which it is

Try a public website to check for the auth and worldserver ports to be open. If they're not open, it's some part of the networking chain.

The ports of both servers have been confirmed to be accessible through the Internet.
