I started "working" on AC just a few days ago, I normall do enterprise apps, but it feels like "eventual consistency" to me. I don't know the workflow yet, but I guess after you complete a quest some kind of check will be performed and if you can accept new quests, the information is sent to the client? In that case my first guess would be, that the data the checking functions is working with, isn't updated yet? I'm just randomly guessing around to see whether I'm going in the right direction

UPDATE `item_template` SET `stackable` = 10 WHERE `entry` BETWEEN 29753 AND 29767;
as an example right?

Yes, as long as you remember it will grab every number between the first one and the last one so don't do it if there are some you don't want touched in between them
