so far it looks like it's just the logging settings that don't load properly from the module's config. it's possible there's some condition we're both hitting that requires a reload to fix, but i can't say for sure. you getting any errors about your config when you restart the server?

I am seeing some options about some config options having 'incorrect settings" and being skipped

but i dont believe ive modified the configs yet, as i wanted to get it working before fiddling
