So I had an idea for a module: Hardcore Lite (lol)
What I want to do is detect the player dying, strip all their gear, gold and items from them, place them into a container, and then have a vendor sell them that container for X gold (including their Heathstone.) The idea is dying becomes a right pain in the arse, but not "Hardcore" levels of PITA lol
Does this seem possible?

The idea is they res at their body and have nothing left until they get back to a major city where the vendor is.

Right. So they keep their gold, but the buy-back cost includes what they have left. Meh... I guess.
The idea is: you can't take your material things with you into death, so you lose them. This NPC/vendor is a scavenger, so they've "nicked" your stuff and are now selling it back to you (or... get this: anyone who gets to the vendor first.) So you have to walk back (and survive), get gold out of the (guild) bank or earn it somehow, then buy back your gear.
