lot of code could be structured differently and be more readable but we are in reality not in ideal world so it is what it is

rest of weirdness mainly comes down to blizzard some names are taken from client to match although they dont make sense for what they are.....data structures are used based on client even if they are bad in today view etc

just keep in mind that most of it is not needed to know u will never use it but if u dont know c++ at all that is where u start

Understood, I'm more meaning opening and closing items and how they relate etc. I'll start with the C++ info as i don't know that at all and would like to be able to contribute more to the project over time
