What would cause NPCbots to ignore my character? I spawned a normal bot and the hire bot as a GM, and then went to hire them as a normal player character and just ignore all attemps to interact with them. If I right click on them my character makes the talk animation, but the bot doesn't acknowledge me and nothing happens.

You're not being specific enough. You say you spawned a bot and the npc that allows you to easily hire any bot around but you didn't mention if the bot itself works when talking to it or if it's the special npc.

Oh, sorry. Both, the spawned bot and the hire bot both just completely ignore any attempts to interact with them. Swapped back over to GM and it's same.
