It's the best solution, yes. It also means fully automated AH so you only need to get it up and running and that's it.

I've been getting a weird problem where when I logout and log back in, some recent items i have equipped and items in my inventory are missing. this is the most common problem, but sometimes ive also logged in at a previous location, recent quests are not completed, etc. i couldnt find anything when I tried looking online. the problem isnt consistent and i couldnt figure out any kind of pattern other than maybe time from completing an action and logging out? does anyone have any insight or where i can read more about this

at first i didnt but i did read that, and tried shutting it down properly and then loading it back up and i got the same problem. i tried saveall then server shutdown 1 then opened stuff back up and the problem still happened

When you shut the server down it always saves online characters before closing. It also saves a character when it logs out
